From One Beggar to Another (Bread for the Day) by: Nathan Daniel Kaspar

From One Beggar to Another (Bread for the Day) by: Nathan Daniel Kaspar

Has your body ever reached the point where it is longing for some good tasting food to hit the spot and assuage the hunger pains? You know, when your stomach begins to have a conversation with you and you wish you could give a satisfying answer (food), but it seems as if that answer is so very far off! The same can be said for our spiritual lives. Our souls cry out for nourishment, but many times we look to the world for a satisfying answer. God is always speaking, even in the most unsuspecting ways, and desires to feed our souls with the never stale food of his word. D. T. Niles said, "Christianity is one beggar telling another beggar where he found bread." So from one beggar to another, here is some bread for the day!

Using his own recognizable humor and razor - sharp observations these expositions help us to engage with the conflict in these 12 psalms.
